Police were dispatched to 403 Main Street shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, when there were reports of a group of people in front of the building who appeared to have “pro Russia signs and were possibly causing a disturbance.
Police said that responding officers intervened and reported that the parties checked out before dispersing.
Other items on the North Castle Police Department blotter from Sept. 15 through Sept. 26 include:
- A cellular caller reported to police on Sept. 17 that a bicyclist had fallen and was injured on Route 120, just south of Route 22. Police said that the bicyclist was conscious, but suffered an injury to his head and shoulder. Officers transferred the call to the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services and the Armonk Fire Department for treatment on the victim
- First responders were dispatched to a Banksville Road home on Sept. 16, following reports of an active porch fire. Upon arrival, police said that the local fire department was on scene and had already extinguished the blaze. Fire Inspector William Richardson was at the scene investigation, and cleared police once the scene was safe.
