Police in the Town of Fairfield in Connecticut is looking for information on the whereabouts of a missing 14-year-old girl.
The police department posted a notice on its Facebook page Tuesday evening about Amanda Lewin, who they said is missing and endangered.
Amanda is described as 5-foot-7 and weighing 125 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.
She was last seen at 4 p.m. Tuesday at her home in Fairfield, police said. She is believed to be wearing black pants, a plaid shirt and possibly a black jacket with Converse sneakers, police said.
Amanda is considered endangered due to medical concerns, police said. She left home with an undisclosed amount of cash and possibly a duffle bag.
Police said Amanda may be traveling on public transportation. Her final destination is unknown, police said.
