Police Look For Erratic Driver In Armonk

ARMONK, N.Y. – An erratic driver who allegedly swerved into oncoming traffic at times tops a recent North Castle Police Department blotter.

About 9 a.m. Friday, April 17, a woman reported to police that she was behind a black Toyota Camry traveling south on Route 128 near the town line.

She provided authorities with the woman’s license plate number, also reporting that the vehicle had damage to its front bumper. No further information was listed in the blotter.

Armonk police also recently handled the following calls:

  • About 12:05 p.m. Friday, April 17, a female BOCES student called police and said another female student punched her in the face. The student, who said she was 18, was in the principal’s office and said she believed her nose is broken. Police and paramedics responded to the situation.
  • About 3:15 p.m. Friday, April 17, someone called police to report a 19-year-old man had sustained a facial injury near Bedford-Banksville Road. The caller said it appeared to be due to a motor vehicle accident. Banksville firefighters and Armonk paramedics responded to the situation.
  • About 11:20 a.m. Monday, April 20, an employee of the North Castle Highway Department reported to police that someone had cut the lock off the gate at the town highway yard over the weekend. The employee further reported that the suspect or suspects illegally dumped organic material. Police investigated the situation and could not identify a potential suspect.
