North Castle Police Respond To Vehicle Break-Ins, Unwelcomed Boyfriend Call

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. – North Castle Police are warning residents to keep their cars locked up after two vehicles were “rummaged through” by someone looking for stuff to steal.

A resident of General Heath Avenue and another on nearby MacDougal Drive called police to report the thefts early Wednesday, Nov. 23, the day before Thanksgiving.

Both residents were on their way to work and told police they would file formal complaints later in the day.

Tuesday, Nov. 22: A resident of North Greenwich Road called police to report that her daughter’s 30-year-old boyfriend was at her house, The woman said he had been warned by the family, and the police department, that he was not wanted on the premises. The responding officers spoke with the man and he left, police said.
