Missing Elderly Man Tops North Castle Police Blotter

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- A report of a missing elderly man who appeared to be disoriented and was found at a gas station on North Broadway on Monday was among the calls North Castle police responded to last week. 

Other reports include:

  • A complainant reported a dispute between two customers at Stop & Shop Supermarket on North Broadway on Jan. 17. Parties were described as leaving the premises, walking toward Reservoir Road. Parties were located. 
  • Two dogs were reported running loose from Bedford-Greenwich Animal Hospital on Bedford Banksville Road on Jan. 17. The dogs were returned.
  • A caller reported smoke in her residence on Miller Circle on Jan. 17. The call was transferred to the fire department. A police officer responded and reported that the odor originated from her boiler, which was turned off by the fire department. The homeowner was advised to get service on her boiler.
  • A complainant from Byram Lake Road reported that she and her family were unable to find her brother-in-law on Monday.
