According to Lt. John White, Hernandez inappropriately touched a 9-year-old girl in an aisle at the supermarket located in the Beach Shopping Center. Later Hernandez touched her again inappropriately at the checkout line, White said.
The girl told her grandmother and later told her mother, who reported the incident to Peekskill Police. After an investigation, police decided to file charges against Hernandez, White said.
Hernandez is being held at the Westchester County Jail on $25,000 bail.
