Man Charged With Bribery In Attempt To Pass Westchester DMV Exam

YONKERS, N.Y. — A $500 bribe was offered to a New York State Motor Vehicle representative in Yonkers Thursday, Jan. 7 in return for a passing Commercial Driver License exam, New York State police said.

The employee notified her supervisor and authorities were called. Homero Rodriguez, 64, of New York City was arrested by New York State Police from the Hawthorne Barracks, in conjunction with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Investigations Unit.

Rodriguez was charged with Bribery 3rd Degree (D-Felony) and arraigned in the Village of Tuckahoe Court.

He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail, bail pending a court date.
