Larceny At Stop And Shop Tops North Castle Police Blotter

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- A larceny at Stop and Shop on Dec. 19 was among the calls that North Castle police responded to last week.

Complainant arrived at headquarters to report that, while investigating a larceny that occurred at Stop & Shop Supermarket on Dec. 18, she noticed the same individual had been responsible for previously stealing items on Dec. 12.

Other reports include the following: 

  • Numerous callers report a deer injured in the roadway at North Greenwich Road on Friday, Dec. 19. Sgt. McCormack responded and removed the deer to the side of the roadway. 
  • An officer reports a traffic stop at Route 22 and requests an ambulance for a possible diabetic emergency on Friday, Dec. 19. Operator was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital.
  • Complainant reports two tenants at Business Park Drive are actively involved in a dispute, which he believes is verbal in nature at this time on Saturday, Dec. 20. Officers responded.
  • Councilman DiGiacinto reports receiving complaints regarding vehicles parking on the grass and the side of the roadway on Cox Avenue near the Moderne Barn in the evenings, creating a hazard on Saturday, Dec. 20. Information was forwarded to patrols for monitoring of area.
  • Complainant reported that he is in the parking lot of 375 Main St. in Armonk and stated a few minutes ago he was in the driveway of the Bank of America and two males operating w white vehicle approached him stating he hit their car on Monday, Dec. 22. He stated he knows he was not involved in an accident and feels this is suspicious. He stated they were operating a white vehicle. Officers responded, headquarters received a 911 call from  Patrick Jean-Jerome who states someone hit his car at the Bank of America. Incident reports are expected to follow. 
  • Complainant reported a skunk at Elizabeth Place which is possibly sick and has gotten aggressive and was attempting to attack his dog on Tuesday, Dec. 23. DCO Morales responded and reports locating animal and confirming it appears sick. An officer responded; animal subsequently dispatched.
