Firefighters Battle Three-Alarm Blaze At Yeshiva Farm In New Castle

NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- Firefighters from multiple municipalities are battling a three-alarm blaze at Yeshiva of Nitra complex in New Castle that broke out around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

The Yeshiva of Nitra is a private Rabbinical college, or yeshiva, located in New Castle. The building is on a religious campus called the Yeshiva Farm Settlement. Though serviced by the Mount Kisco Fire Department, it is not in the town of Mount Kisco.

Firefighters from Yorktown, Katonah, Bedford Hills and Millwood are also battling the blaze.
