New York State Department of Transportation Highway workers reported to the North Castle Police Department on Tuesday morning that a driver in a flatbed truck drove through the work zone as crews were paving blacktop on the roadway.

Police said that the workers reported that the driver was swerving through the work zone at the flaggers before pulling off the roadway a short way up the road. Officers responded to the scene and spoke to the driver before issuing him a warning.
