Animal Complaint

A Bedford Road resident reported around 6 a.m. on Oct. 17 that a dead deer was in the roadway on Route 22 between Banksville Road and Tripp Lane, police said. According to reports, police found the deer near 486 Bedford Road and moved to the side of the roadway and notified the proper departments.

Lost Dog

Police said a Banksville Road resident reported on Oct. 17 she found a light brown, shepherd mix dog wandering. Police transported the canine to headquarters.

Larceny

Police said a resident of Grand Old Mount Kisco Road walked into police headquarters Oct. 18 to report that he noticed $1360.67 in unauthorized charges to his checking account. Complainant states he left checks in his vehicle that had been stolen on Sept. 15 and believes the perpetrators of the vehicle theft had gained access to his checking account via those checks. 

Dispute

A resident from General Upland Lane reports his landscaping company is attempting to clear the leaves from the property at 25 Upland Lane and is having a verbal dispute with workers of a neighboring property who are dumping the leaves onto the property 25 Upland Lane. Officers responded to settle matters. Complainant states the landscaper working at 22 Upland Lane and 25 Upland Lane are blowing leaves onto the property of 22 North Lake Road. Officers spoke with Excellent Landscaping owner Jeff Singer who stated the leaves were being blown into a pile on the property of 22 Upland Lane and he will be returning to pick up same.
