Deer Stuck In Fence Among North Castle Police Calls

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. --  A deer stuck in a fence at 6 Agnew Farm Road on Thursday, Dec. 4, was among the calls that North Castle police responded to last week.

Other reports included: 

  • Complainant Thomasine Williford called headquarters reporting that she has been unable to contact an elderly friend of hers by the name of Phillip Wagner who resides at Meadow Hill Place on Thursday, Dec. 4. Williford stated that it is extremely unusual for someone not to answer phone calls at the residence as Wagner has a live-in health aide. Williford requested that an officer respond to Mr. Wagner's residence to check on his welfare. Police Officer Cunningham responded and reports speaking with Wagner, who checked out OK.
  • Complainant called to report a suspicious male was knocking on his door on Overlook Road North on Saturday, Dec. 6. Police responded and reported that the party was a cab fare from New York City who entered the wrong Overlook Road into his GPS. Police Officer Svendsen assisted the party to White Plains. 
  • Caller reported a suspicious male running on Main Street while carrying some sort of sharp instrument on Saturday, Dec. 6. Police responded and reports that the party was locked out of his vehicle and that he was running due to the rain. Party was carrying items for use in attempting to gain access to his vehicle. Party checked out OK.
  • Caller reported an automobile accident on Route 433 on Monday, Dec. 8. A police officer responded and reported he is out with a one-vehicle accident, car versus utility pole. The officer reported that the pole is snapped and there are power lines in the roadway. A police officer requests Armonk Ambulance for vehicle operator. Vehicle involved is a Connecticut registration. Vehicle operator refused medical attention with Armonk Ambulance.
