Armonk Man Charged With Aggravated DWI In Checkpoint On Route 22

An Armonk man is among four people facing charges after a joint agency DWI Sobriety Checkpoint with the North Castle Police Department on Route 22 in Armonk, state police said on Sunday.

Michael Ventorino of Armonk who provided a breath sample that indicated he had a .18 percent blood-alcohol content was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, state police said.

Three others were charged with criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

All four were issued tickets to appear in the Town of North Castle Court on Oct. 20.
