Armonk Fire Department Hoping To Fill The Boot For Children's Hospital

ARMONK, N.Y. -- The Armonk Fire Department is lending a helping hand...or boot.

The fire department is one of 12 fire departments in Westchester taking part in a "fill the boot" campaign to raise money for Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla Sunday.

Firefighters will be collecting donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Armonk Square.

“So many Armonk residents and colleagues have benefitted from Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital’s medical services – we are honored to have an opportunity to support its vital mission," said Fire Chief Carlos Cano.
