ARMONK, N.Y. – Susan Katherine Winkler of Armonk died Tuesday, March 8. She was 96.
She and her husband, Max Winkler, owned Winkler's Nursery in Armonk for 52 years. She was born in Sparta, Tenn., and was the youngest of nine siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Anderson (Rob), her grandchildren Kathy and Robby, and great-granddaughter Madison, all of Armonk; and daughter-in-law Barbara and granddaughter, Robin, of Park City, Utah.
She was predeceased by her husband, Max; and her son, Jim.
Burial is private. The family requests donations in her memory to American Legion Post 1097, 35 Bedford Road, Armonk, NY 10504.
