ARMONK, N.Y. - Robert J. Herbert of Armonk died Feb. 21. He was 85.
Herbert was born April 23, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pa. He graduated from Carnegie Tech and the Stern School of Business at NYU. He retired from Stone & Webster Engineering Co. as a project manager. Bob was a member of the Armonk Lions Club, having served as president and later as district governor.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Eileen; sisters, Lois Laslavic and Eleanor Palermo of Pittsburgh; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held March 23 at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Chappaqua.
