Schiliro added that Watson passed away "peacefully in her sleep."

"We are filled with sadness, but feel deep gratitude for a life well-lived and dedicated to her family, friends, and the North Castle community," Schiliro wrote.

The supervisor did not list Watson's age or date of birth, although he noted that she was "devoted to her family," which included her husband, Bill, who she was married to for more than 50 years.
