Joseph A. Ambrosecchio, 85, Of Armonk; Worked at St. Barnabas Hospital

ARMONK, N.Y. -- Joseph A. Ambrosecchio, a longtime resident of Armonk, died Monday, Dec. 29. He was 85.

Ambrosecchio was born on Feb.  4, 1929, in New York City to the late Antonio and Serafina (Iacovone) Ambrosecchio. He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked at St. Barnabas Hospital for over 20 years.

He is survived by his sister, Teresa Moffa; brothers, Emanuel, Gus, Michael and Maro; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Ambrosecchio.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, Jan. 3, and Sunday, Jan. 4, from  4-8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m.at St. Patrick's Church, 29 Cox Ave., Armonk.

Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation.
