John Minutaglio, 62, Of Armonk, Owned John Mini Distinctive Landscapes

ARMONK, N.Y. - John Minutaglio of Armonk died June 21. He was 62.

Minutaglio was born Oct. 29, 1948, in Brooklyn, to Francis and Tessie Minutaglio. He graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School where he became a New York City champion and still holds the school record for the 50 yard dash. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University. After his marriage he moved with his family to Armonk in 1984. He was the president and owner of John Mini Distinctive Landscapes of Congers.

Minutaglio is survived by his wife, Sue Ann; children, Jessica Minutaglio and her partner Benjamin Roberts, of Minneapolis, John Minutaglio (Pooja) of Toronto, and Mark Minutaglio and his fiancé Julia Lange of New York; brothers: Frank Minutaglio of Lynbrook, William Minutaglio of Austin, and Robert Minutaglio of Naples; in-laws, the Hutchinson, Spellman, Martin, and Kody families; nieces, nephews; and an extended family of lifelong friends. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Thomas Minutaglio of Forest Hills.

Calling hours are Friday, June 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a service beginning at 3 p.m. at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road in Pleasantville.
