Gale H. Jones-Ross, 71, Former Armonk Resident

COPAKE, N.Y. - Gale H. Jones-Ross of Copake, formerly of Mt. Kisco and Armonk, died Sept. 15. She was 71.

Jones-Ross was born April 9, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, to Dorothy and R. Bruce Jones. She attended Armonk Public Schools and graduated from Pleasantville High School. She was employed by Ward Leonard, IBM, Northern Westchester Hospital and the JCC.

Jones-Ross is survived by her husband, Russell Patrick (Mike) Ross; sons, Russell, Bruce (Susan)  and Christopher (Carolyn); daughters, Heidi and Jennifer (Carlo); and 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and daughter, Amy Beth Ross.

Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 19 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St., Mt. Kisco. Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. The burial and graveside service will follow at Kensico in Valhalla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany or Columbia Green Community Hospice, 47 Liberty St., Catskill, NY 12414.
