Work Scheduled For Two Armonk Roads

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. – Roadwork is scheduled to begin Tuesday on School Street and Whippoorwill Road, which may cause some driving delays, according to the North Castle Highway Department.

The two roads will not be entirely closed.

However, officials are asking that people allow extra time for driving.

Also, no vehicles should be parked on the road or the shoulder.

Highway officials plan to remove the pavement on School Street and Whippoorwill Road during the first week of the effort.

If all goes as planned, they will begin repaving those roads Monday, July 6.
