WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A cold front will move through the area and likely bring a wintry mix to Westchester County on Tuesday and Tuesday evening, Dec. 2, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to be significantly cooler on Tuesday, with highs only reaching into the mid-30s. Scattered precipitation will move into the area after 3 p.m.
Snow, sleet and freezing rain become more likely in the evening hours with up to a half-inch of snow and sleet possible by Wednesday morning, Dec. 3. Chance of precipitation overnight is 80 percent.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low 50s.
Sun will return on Thursday, Dec. 4, with a high temperature in the low 40s.
