ARMONK, N.Y. - Salt spreaders and snow plows occupied roads and residents headed home early Friday as the winter storm named “Nemo” arrived in the North Castle.
The National Weather Service predicted heavy snowfall and high winds through Saturday morning for the Westchester County area, forcing the Byram Hills School District to dismiss school early Friday.
All after-school activities, as well as local recreation and government events, have also been canceled for Friday and Saturday.
