Wind Advisory Is In Effect For Armonk Till 6 p.m.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A wind advisory is in effect on Sunday for all of Westchester County through 6 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Winds of between 20 to 35 miles per hour will be out of the Northwest, with gusts as high as 45 miles per hour, with the strongest winds from late morning through late afternoon.

There could be downed tree limbs and isolated power outages as a result.

A Red Flag warning, issued yesterday, is also in effect for conditions favorable for the rapid spread of wildfires. The time frame for that warning is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
