Clydedoro Graham, was convicted Thursday after a seven-day trial in U.S. District Court in White Plains, Bharara said.

According to Bharara’s office, Graham, along with his girlfriend Alisa Papp, his cousin Kevin Graham and his friend Hector Garcia, lured the girl into Clydedoro Graham’s apartment on June 16, 2014 “for the purpose of forcing her to work for them.”

Clydedoro Graham, identified by authorities as the “leader of the scheme,” had summoned the girl to the apartment after seeing her advertisement on backpage.com, a website frequented by prostitutes offering their services, Bharara said.

Once she arrived to the apartment, the group worked to isolate the girl, first bringing her inside before taking her purse of phone, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The girl then asked to leave the apartment, but was instead told that she would work for Clydedoro Graham.

According to Bharara, each of the men then had forcible sex with the girl inside the apartment, where they would keep her captive for the next 48 hours.

Bharara said the scheme fell apart on June 18, 2014 when two Yonkers police officers, responding to a tip, arrived to the apartment and demanded to speak with the girl. They brought her to safety soon after.

Clydedoro Graham along with Papp, Kevin Graham and Garcia, were each charged on Dec. 4 with sex trafficking and kidnapping crimes, Bharara said. Papp, Kevin Graham and Garcia all pleaded guilty to related charges before heading to trial and are awaiting sentencing.

Clydedoro Graham took his case to trial, which began Oct. 27. On Thursday, he was found guilty of all charges, including on count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking, one count of attempted sex trafficking and one count of kidnapping, Bharara said.

Clydedoro Graham is to be sentenced April 15 by U.S. District Court Judge Nelson S. Román. He could receive multiple life sentences.
