Armonk Could See Light Snow Through Thursday Morning

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Clouds will continue to increase throughout Westchester ahead of a weather system that could bring light snow to the area through early Thursday morning.

Minimal snowfall is expected in Westchester on Wednesday night, but a bigger storm could impact the region over the weekend.

Snow showers could move through the area overnight through the early morning hours Thursday. A dusting to 1 inch of accumulation is possible. The chance of snow is 50 percent. 

Partly cloudy skies will prevail on Thursday as the system moves out of the area with a high temperature in the mid-30s. 

Sun will remain on Friday with temperatures around freezing.

Forecasters are monitoring a storm that could have a greater impact on the region on Saturday and Saturday night.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the area in anticipation of the storm, which could bring significant snowfall or significant ice accumulation.
