Tree Removal For Armonk Park Causes Stir

ARMONK, N.Y. -- The removal of trees from a park space in Armonk is upsetting some local residents, according to theexaminernews.com.

The plan to turn the land near Maple Avenue and Bedford Road into park space was unanimously approved by the North Castle Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, but local residents told theexaminernews.com that they weren't told about the proposal. 

In addition to residents, other town boards and committees have stated that they weren't brought in on the new park plans, according to theexaminernews.com.
