Traffic Delays Continue On Armonk's Main Street

ARMONK, N.Y. -- Traffic congestion at the intersection of Main Street, Maple Avenue and Whippoorwill Road East is expected Thursday and Friday as construction on a traffic signal and pedestrian crosswalk continues.

Officials are warning that periodic road closures along Main Street in Armonk will cause delays in the area of Maple Avenue.

Contract workers are expected to install curbs, sidewalks and traffic sensor loops along the busy intersection, forcing periodic road closures and delays, according to officials.

Drivers along Main Street (Route 128) and the surrounding area are urged to be pay close attention to workers, as well as those performing traffic control.
