WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Westchester County residents need to be watchful for ticks on not only themselves, but also their pets, according to pets.webmd.com .
The current level of tick activity in the Westchester County area is “severe,” pets.webmd.com reported.
Risks of tick bites include Lyme disease , which can sometimes cause serious health problems such as chronic pain and nervous system disturbances.
