Chinese Cooking for Adults with Norma Chang:  10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  Take part in a Chinese cooking course for adults at the North Castle Public Library in North While Plains with area chef and author Norma Change.  Free and open to the public.  10 Clove Road, North White Plains, N.Y.

Learn Tai Chi with Lawrence Attile: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Lawrence Attile will give a free Tai Chi course at the North Castle Public Library in Armonk for mind and body health.  Free and open to the public.  19 Whipporrwill Road East, Armonk, N.Y.

Sunday, May 13

Mother’s Day Celebration: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Mother’s Day celebration at the Stone Barns Center in Pocantico Hills will include plant-potting activities, tours, and many other activities.  The farmer’s market and spring plant sale will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills, N.Y.
