Small Town Theatre Set for Final Summer Program

ARMONK, N.Y. - The 2011 summer season for The Small Town Theatre Company will conclude Sunday, Aug. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in Wampus Brook Park with “An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein.”

Oscar Hammerstein III, grandson of Oscar Hammerstein II, will be in attendance to enlighten the crowd on the history of his grandfather’s celebrated works.

The show can also be seen Saturday, Aug. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Bedford Village Memorial Park in Bedford Village.

Singers Scott Brannon, Jeff Goodwin, Daniele Hager, Lisa Spielman and Eric Johnson will perform.

According to The Small Town Theatre’s website, SmallTownTheatre.com, co-director Sam Morel says “four very talented singers will perform the classics of Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, and the Sound of Music.”

In the event of rain, updates will be posted on the current season section of The Small Town Theatre’s website.
