Slick roads Tuesday night caused two cars to collide at the intersection of Bedford Road and Cox Avenue.
The accident happened as the rain began to fall, creating wet roads that made it difficult for the cars to brake, said a representative from the Armonk Fire Department.
Nobody was injured in the accident.
According to Armonk Fire Department officials, both cars were driven by teenagers. Their families arrived soon after the crash and took them from the scene.
North Castle police redirected traffic on Bedford Road, also called Route 22, from about 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. until the cars were towed away. The activity created heavy traffic around the area.
