ARMONK, N.Y. – Here's a list of some highlighted programs scheduled this week at the North Castle Library in Armonk:
Tuesday, April 16
- Learn American Sign Language on Tuesdays April 16, 23 and 30. Level 1 participants (grades one to five) runs from 4 to 5 p.m. and Level 2 (grades six to 12) runs 6 to 7 p.m.
- The Digital Film Club for ages 11 and up meets at 6 p.m.
- An Italian Language and Culture Class takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The program is offered April 16, 23, and 30 by Mara DeMatteo, a native Italian speaker, blogger, author and teacher. All levels of skill are welcome.
Wednesday, April 17
- “Brave New World” art history series continues with Valerie Franco, a Long Island University professor, at 7 p.m. April 17’s event focuses on Constantin Brancusi.
Thursday, April 18
- North Castle students can seek homework help with the Homework Club at 3:30 p.m.
Friday, April 19
- The Game Club, available for middle and high school students, meets at 3 p.m.
- A lesson on Chinese cooking teaches how to make chicken stir fry at 3:30 p.m.
