The board will reportedly approve the application with the state comptroller's office at its Aug. 13 meeting.

The new district would be called Northern Sewer District #1A and would include 148 homes in the Riverwoods Town House complex, according to the article.

The district would be created to divert wastewater from the Croton Watershed and would cost $25 million to complete, the article read. The town would reportedly only be responsible for $10 million of the project, however, with the rest being paid for by the New York Department of Environmental Protection.
