ARMONK, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Armonk this week:
- The Engel Burman Group, the company behind the 140-unit Bristal Assisted Living complex on Business Park Drive, has given $25,000 donation to get Armonk's iconic eagle completely refurbished .
- A 43-year-old man was hit by a Metro-North train and killed just south of the Hartsdale train station in an apparent suicide, according to Metro-North Railroad spokeswoman Marjorie Anders.
- A Somers man was found dead on Route 100 near the Muscoot Reservoir on the east side of the road. State Police shut down the road in both directions for 30 minutes in order to investigate.
