WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – As summer weather heats up, parents are reminded of the dangers of leaving children in hot cars and provided tips to prevent deaths, according to Web MD .
More than 600 children in the U.S. have died since 1990 after being left in hot cars, according to the report.
Web MD suggests not making any exceptions when leaving kids in the car on a hot day, know what can go wrong if a child is left in the car and use reminders if going outside of the normal daily schedule.
