North Castle Zoning Board Adjourns Group's Appeal of CVS Permit

ARMONK, N.Y. – The North Castle Zoning Board of Appeals adjourned the Concerned Citizens of Armonk’s appeal of the CVS lease at its meeting Thursday night after Eden Enterprises, the company that owns the Main Street store that CVS plans to occupy, announced extensive site changes that will require approvals by town agencies.

The Concerned Citizens of Armonk’s appeal said the town should have issued a change of use permit, a site plan approval and design change approval by the architectural review board.

All three are likely with the site change plan in which CVS will restructure the space to provide a separate entrance for another retail establishment.

“The application is totally different with the new plans, so the building permit will be stayed pending this hearing,” Gerald Reilly, a lawyer representing the zoning board of appeals, announced at the meeting.

The zoning board of appeals unanimously approved the adjournment motion.
