North Castle Seeks Lifeguards For ALE Pool

ARMONK, N.Y. – The Town of North Castle Recreation and Parks Department is now accepting applications for lifeguards and water safety instructors to work this summer at the Anita Louise Ehrman Recreation Center pool in Armonk.

CPR / AED for the professional rescuer and health-care providers must be renewed every year, although the certificate itself says two years.

Candidates should be 16 years or older, although a small number of 15-year-old applicants may be hired. Water -safety instructor certification is a strong plus. If you are not currently lifeguard certified but would be interested in getting certified with the intent to work at the pool, also send an email indicating that to mtrainor@northcastleny.com.

Various shifts are available. Click here for an application. Completed applications to become a lifeguard at the ALE pool should be submitted with copies of all certifications to mtrainor@northcastleny.com or faxed to 914-273-2139.
