Minus 15-Degree Wind Chills Possible In Armonk; Advisory In Effect

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- With dangerously cold air arriving in Westchester, the National Weather Service has issued a wind-chill advisory from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday.

Wind-chill readings could be as low as minus 15 degrees during that time frame.

The frigid conditions will be dangerous to those who are outdoors and prolonged exposure may cause frostbite.

Overnight lows Wednesday into Thursday will be between zero and 2 degrees with wind chills between 5 and 15 below zero.

Thursday will be sunny with a high only between 15 and 17 degrees and sub-zero wind chills.
