Jupiter, Venus Forming Unusual Sight In Armonk Sky

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Jupiter and Venus – the two brightest planets – will continue to appear close together in the night sky this week, in an eight-day stretch that began Saturday, reports Sky and Telescope.

The planets are actually 416 million miles apart but are appearing to meet together in the sky in this rare "Double Star" event.

The next conjunction is expected March 1, 2023, according to the report. 

The last night the two planets will appear close to each other is July 4.
