ARMONK, N.Y. - The North Castle Police reported that a North White Plains resident heard a gun shot from an area behind her residence. Police went to check the area around 8 Hillandale Ave., North White Plains, on December 9.
In other blotter news, police reported receiving information about a possible fight taking place at Byram Hills High School at the Byram Hills-Fox Lane High School basketball game on December 8.
On December 10, a complainant flagged down an officer on Baldwin Rd. in Armonk to report he was having problems with hunters trespassing on his property at 50 Chestnut Ridge Road, which backs up to Baldwin Road. He stated he has posted no trespassing signs but he has continued to find shotgun shells and headless deer carcasses on his property. He requested extra police patrols of the area.
Westchester County police reported a missing possible suicide party from 100 Woods Road in Valhalla on December 10. The party was in the hospital on a DUI incident and released by the State Police but apparently made suicidal threats to the hospital staff as he was leaving. He was described as a 37-year-old Hispanic male, six feet tall, weariing a black jacket, black pants, black shirt and black boots.
