Guitarist Doug Munro to Perform During Art Show

ARMONK, N.Y. – Master musician and guitar virtuoso Doug Munro is scheduled to perform Sunday as part of the 50th Anniversary of the Armonk Outdoor Art show.

Since 1987 Munro has released 11 albums as a leader and has appeared on more than 50 recordings as a sideman, producer, and arranger working with a diverse array of artists including Dr. John, Michael Brecker, and Dr. Lonnie Smith. Munro’s recordings encompass soul-jazz, organ trio, and Latin and gypsy jazz. He teaches at Purchase College as Director Emeritus.

The performance will take place at 4 p.m. on the Park Field at Business Park Drive.
