Two Westchester roadways were closed during the late morning and afternoon hours Friday as a result of flooding.

The southbound Hutchinson River Parkway was closed in the area of Mill Road (Exit 18) in Eastchester. The closure occurred late morning and lasted through the early afternoon.

The Bronx River Parkway was closed in both directions from Yonkers to White Plains during that time frame.

Three crashes have been reported nearby.

One occurred on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway near Exit 16 (Lawrence Street) in Dobbs Ferry at 11:15 a.m. The driver involved in the crash was safely extricated from the vehicle with no injury occurring, Westchester County Police spokesman Kieran O'Leary told Daily Voice just before noon.

A crash reported at about that same time initially blocked the left lane on southbound I-87 at the Yonkers tolls, with traffic backed up to Jackson Avenue.

An 11:35 crash occurred on I-287 in Harrison, causing delays on the westbound side.
