ARMONK, N.Y.- A large tree fell across Barnard Road early Saturday morning, trapping residents in their homes.
According to resident Vikki Star, the tree fell across power lines as it crashed to the road, preventing residnets of Barnard Road, Nichols Road and Limestone Road from being able to travel out of the neighborhood.
Star said around 9:15 p.m. Sunday night after the tree was removed early Sunday afternoon one of the power lines was still lying across the road and people were beginning to drive over it without hesitation.
