Buses Operating as Strike is Averted for Now

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – All Bee-Line buses are operating Thursday, according to the Westchester County government.

The labor negotiations between Liberty Lines Transit, the privately-owned company that operates the buses, and the Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 100 continued through Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The current contract expired  at midnight Feb. 29, but both sides agreed to "stop the clock."
