ARMONK, N.Y. - Various lanes will be closed along Interstate 684 next week for bridge maintenance activities, the New York State Department of Transportation said. These will include double lane closures at times on southbound I-684 between exit 10 for US Route 6/202 and exit eight for Hardscrabble Road between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.
The maintenance will occur between Tuesday, July 5 and Friday, July 8.
The NYSDOT asks that drivers use caution when traveling through work areas and pay attention to all traffic control devices including work zone signs and flaggers. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone and convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver's license.
