Durst, 71, was arrested in New Orleans just one day before the final episode of the HBO documentary, "Jinxed," showed him nearly confessing to murder, NBC News reported.

The warrant for Durst's arrest was related to the 2000 slaying of Susan Berman, but according to New York State Police investigator Joseph C. Becerra, both his division and the Westchester District Attrorney's office are still looking into the 1982 disappearance of Durst's wife Kathleen.
