  • Michael Pinto never expected to make money playing baseball – until now.  The 57-year-old from Armonk has been given the chance to earn like a major-league player as one of two contestants in the “Daily News Be A Winner Pitch For A Million Sweepstakes.”
  • Westchester's residents and elected officials praised decisions from the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday on same-sex marriage, including New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who tweeted that the rulings were "groundbreaking civil rights victories."
  • Existing home prices surged more than 12 percent in a one-year period ending in April, but the increase in Westchester County and New York prices was far lower.
