Armonk's Rob Walz was named to the President's List at the State University of New York at Geneseo for the spring 2011 semester. He received an A or better in all his classes. He will be a junior in the fall and is an accounting major with a minor in theater.
It was the second time Walz achieved President's List status, according to his thrilled family.
"We, as parents, are very proud that Rob has achieved the President's List distinction," Rob's father Richard said. "Rob has surprised us by accomplishing this once before so we are astounded that he was able to do it again. Only 30 students at the school have reached this status this semester."
SUNY Geneseo is a public liberal arts college recognized nationally for excellence in undergraduate education and for its professional and master's level programs.
