ARMONK, N. Y. - The H.C. Crittenden 8th grade orchestra, band and chorus kicked off the Winter Concert Season with a performance for Coman Hill Elementary students Wednesday at the H.C. Crittenden auditorium.
Over 240 Crittenden students performed a variety of winter concert material for kindegarteners through 2nd graders from Coman Hill. "It gives them a chance to hear the band, orchestra and chorus that they'll be a part of when they get here," said H.C. Crittenden music teacher Alan Lounsbury.
"The highlight of this year's concert is a sing-along," he said, as the H.C. Crittenden chorus sang a number of holiday favorites that the Coman students joined in on.
The schedule for holiday concerts includes three events at Byram Hills High School and a gala performance of The Hallejuah Chorus at H.C. Crittenden on Tuesday, December 13th at 7:30 p.m.
